Currently located on the hardstand at Rebak Marina, Langkawi, Malaysia, "Madisson" is a well-maintained 2004 Beneteau 50 - a popular 4-cabin version of this renowned French-built cruising yacht. 

 

Beneteau describes the 50 as "the very essence of easy and comfortable offshore sailing in style", and it certainly lives up to that reputation. Designed by the famed Farr Yacht Design and Philippe Briand, the Beneteau 50 delivers performance, comfort, and versatility - making it ideal for liveaboard cruising, family adventures, or charter use. 

 

Layout & Accommodation

"Madisson" features four spacious double cabins - two forward and two aft - each with its own ensuite head and shower, providing exceptional privacy and comfort for guests or family. There's also a large crew/storage cabin in the bow. 

 

The saloon is warm and inviting, with a generous dining table, dual settees, and ample storage throughout. The galley is well-equipped with a gas oven and stove, twin stainless steel sinks, pressure hot/cold water (heated via engine or shore power), and separate fridge and freezer compartments - everything you need for long-term cruising or entertaining aboard. 

 

Upgrades & Maintenance History

The current owner purchased "Madisson" in 2014 and undertook significant upgrades between 2014-2015, including:

 

A new Yanmar engine

 

21kVA genset

 

New mainsail and genoa

 

Updated navigation system, with upgraded chartplotter and autopilot displays

 

Bow thruster installation

 

A custom solar arch with new panels was added in 2017, and "Madisson" has primarily been based in Langkawi, with seasonal sails to and from Thailand. After her last voyage from Phuket to Langkawi in 2019, she was laid up at Rebak Marina during the pandemic. She has recently had both the engine and genset professionally serviced.
