Seaspray Marine are proud to present this exceptionally well appointed and maintained Baba 40, ANYWAY. Having been well loved, by three owners, since her launch in 1987, she is a proven capable world cruiser which has 1 circumnavigation and many ocean miles beneath her keel. Designed by Robert Perry, these boats were commissioned by Bob Berg, founder of Flying Dutchman International, and the range of BABAs were built in the shipyard in Ta Shing. It is believed that the name of the boat came from the way the Taiwanese workers pronounced Bob Berg's name, Ba-Ba, which also means "father" in Chinese.

In the last few years Anyway has had an extensive list of upgrades and additions. This includes a new mainsail in 2018, complete with new sail cover, solar panels, Lipo 4 batteries and control systems. In 2017 she had a new anchor winch fitted, along with a new genoa, and in 2016, her bottom was professionally peeled, and recoated, and the topsides were repainted. She has truly been well cared for and is equipped and ready to go.

The Baba 40 has become a favourite of world cruisers for their classic lines, teak interior craftsmanship, strength, off-shore capabilities and interior comfort and homely style. I am sure that Anyway will not disappoint you, and she is available for viewing, or for extra videos or information upon request.
