Well balanced, practical and built with care, the Bavaria 42 Cruisers are an ideal boat for those cruising with family and friends. Extremely well ventilated, with plenty of head room and breadth, as well as stowage and natural light, Jelita is a good example of the 3 cabin, 2 head, and twin wheel configuration.
With recent new dodger, bimini, boom bag, battery charger and starter battery, she has recently been antifouled and had her engine serviced.
An extremely comfortable boat, she is priced according to her need for some aesthetic personalising. Her house battery bank is due for replacement, so the owner was encouraged not to replace them, therefore giving the new owners a chance to replace with Lithium if they desire.
Bavarias are known for their sturdy, practical design, strength of build, and an ability for both coastal and blue water sailing. The cockpit is roomy and safe, with a central drop down leaf table, for entertainment on anchor. At the helm, visibility is perfect from either wheel, depending on what Tack you are on.
Inside, there is dedicated comfortable room to sleep 6 people in 3 large double cabins. The linear galley has a 2 burner stove and oven, with ample refrigeration, space for preparation, storage, and importantly, a place to brace against the central double seat, whilst under passage.
Currently berthed in Rebak Marina, this is an ideal place to familiarise yourself with your new boat, enlist contractors, make use of the resort facilities ( inclusive of swimming pool and private beach) and then head out into the islands of Langkawi. And then beyond!
Please let me know if you have any questions.
* Brokers Comments: The forward starboard side head will need attention due to aesthetics and wall discoloration. The boat was not lived on during COVID, but the owners were recently onboard, attending to her needs and haulong her for antifouling and checking systems. One thing that arose was that the kill switch on the engine ( the one in the cockpit) will need replacing. The engine starts and runs well but is currently being turned off manually directly on the engine. The boat, like any boat that has not been lived on full time for a while, is looking for input and upkeep.

Remarks
Launched in 2007, both the first owner and sail area are unknown. Then handed down to the second owner Mr. Bob MacIntire in early 2016 who seemingly sailed only in Langkawi-Phuket waters. Apparently Mr. Macintire sold Jelita to Mr. Torsten Lechler who polished and tuned the boat to resell to the current owner in Mar. 2017.( so 2 x brief owner-ships)
Based in the Royal Langkawi Marina up to June 2018 and then in Rebak Island Marina she was sailed basically along the west coast of Thailand and Malaysia, up to the Myanmar border and down south to Meleka with western end to Saban, Banda Ache, Indonesia in May 2018 and north-western end to Port Blair, Andaman Island, India in Nov. -Dec. 2018.
Due to COVID 19 pandemic, Jelita has been moored in Rebak Island Marina.
Recently the owners spent several weeks on board, running the systems, antifouling, betting some repairs done, and testing things.
She is in need for some slight aesthetic attention. And New House batteries.
