The Leopard 39' is a popular, practical and well-built blue water sailing catamaran that has proven itself to be a performance catamaran, that is safe, agile, and comfortable.
This 3 cabin version, owners edition, has been excellently maintained and also has the port forepeak fitted out as a child's berth. She is currently on the hard stand in Thailand and has just had her Yanmar engines fully serviced and inspected by the Thailand Yanmar team.
She comes fully equipped with a water maker, ample solar and battery power, and various upgrades for blue water sailing. She has never had storm damage, or ever been in charter. 2 loving owners have nurtured her, upgraded her, and made the most of her capabilities. The first owner used her for moderate coastal cruising, and the current owners, with their young family sailed her across the Indian Ocean, via Madagascar, Seychelles, Sumatra and Malaysia, to Thailand, where she is now.

The Leopard 39's speed on the water and easy handling are its top features, earning it 'Boat of the Year 2010' from Cruising World and SAIL magazine. The Leopard 39 features a large cockpit with outside dining area protected by a functional hard-top bimini with mounted solar panels.
Enjoy a functional saloon area featuring upstairs galley with plenty of storage for your provisions & table/seating for up to 8 adults. The saloon opens via sliding door to a spacious back deck with generous seating and additional exterior table and raised helm with seating for two for easy navigation. The front deck provides a large tramp for relaxing, roller furling headsail and clean lines all leading back to helm, creating an uncluttered and convenient deck set up.
Below deck find 3 double cabins, and 2 x heads. The Queen Master suite sits on the starboard side and includes a full bathroom with separate shower, office/navigation desk and plenty of storage for additional luggage and supplies. On the port side two double cabins sit forward and aft, with a bathroom positioned mid ship for easy access from either cabin or from up on deck. This boat will comfortably accommodate 6-8 crew.
The well laid out saloon and galley allows maximum room for traffic when entertaining or just easy living. The large interior volume in the saloon provides 6'5" headroom and has a dinette that will seat eight. With numerous opening hatches and windows and a light cherry wood finish, the space is very inviting and rich. The galley to port has a single sink, a two-burner stove with oven, and lots of Corian countertop space. There's also a serving window to the cockpit so nobody needs to be left out of the socialising.
The cockpit is ideal for entertaining in the anchorage and will comfortably seat 10 for cocktails. The double-seat helm station is to starboard, and is raised. It offers excellent visibility forward and all around when docking. All controls are within easy reach, and getting the mainsail up and down and the jib unfurled and furled is all accomplished by one person at the helm station and couldn't be easier.
Sailing the Leopard 39 is easy: both main and jib sheets lead to stoppers and self-tailing winches directly adjacent to the helm. There's room for two on the bench-style helm seat, but you need only one to trim sails!
