She has had 3 previous owners, and the current owners have owned her since 2013, cruising over 30000 miles from the UK. She has been continually maintained and updated both with regards to equipment and the accommodation. The owners were in New Zealand during Covid and took the opportunity to carry out a lot of work on her.

Serenity has 7 berths in 2 cabins plus the saloon. Double V berth forward. Spacious owner's cabin aft with double berth, couch and en-suite toilet. Shower head on long hose for use on deck. Pilot berth in walkway to after cabin. Second toilet forward with shower. Both heads Jabsco manual pump. Forward head can be pumped to holding tank or to sea. Majority of below water through hulls replaced with Trudesign composites. Saloon has 1,8m head height, L berth to starboard and straight berth to port. Large central table folds away on both sides. Chart table with instruments to starboard. Ample storage with space under berths, behind seat cushions and under floorboards. Led lighting throughout.

Sail Inventory

Fully battened main and furling genoa (2015) by Saunders Sails UK. Genoa recut and UV strip replaced 11/2022. Working jib (2013), lightly used, hanks onto a removable forestay, as does the storm jib. Older sails are also on board, a Saunders main (2008) in good condition and a cruising chute in a hoisting sock.

 

Mast / Rigging

Sloop rigged with Selden mast and boom. The standing rigging is all less than 6 years old. The mast was taken out and examined in Australia (03/2023). Genoa furler Furlex (11/2019), Stbd Intermediate 11/2019, lower shrouds (02/2022), cap shrouds, Port intermediate, backstay, babystay, all toggles, pins and masthead sheaves (03/2023). Deck Gear

On mast: Main halyard winch (Lewmar 16ST), Genoa halyard winch (Lewmar 30), Spinnaker halyard winch and reefing winch (both Lewmar 16). In cockpit: 2 x genoa sheet winches (Lewmar 43ST), 1 x mainsheet winch and 1 x
genoa furling winch (both Lewmar 8). All serviced at least annually.

 

Remarks

.The owners sailied to SE Asia from Australia in July 2023 and have been cruising Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand since then.
