Renowned Quality and Performance.
MASQUENADA is a serious blue water cruising boat, built solid and strong for the Scandinavian North Sea. She is totally capable and comfortable, and ready for anything. The Najad designs are of such high build quality and along with the Hallberg Rassy, they never last long on our inventory. She is well looked after and maintained, with a ready to go inventory and currently on the hard stand in Rebak Marina, Langkawi.
She has had a considerable amount of work done on her since 2020, including removal of all ( apart from a couple ) of the teak deck screws, and re-gluing and sanding the teak decks. Her topside hull was repainted in 2020 in New Zealand, and her mast was removed and, rigging checked. Her topsides were professionally repainted, and the below water line hull was stripped back, epoxy resined, and primed and antifouled.
The engine has had many major services between 2020-2024 with many parts being replaced, such as water pumps, injectors and the heat exchanger.
MASQUENADA is a centre cockpit design, with a very large aft queen sized berth, a linear galley, a spacious saloon and a v-berth forward. She is easy to sail and well protected in the cockpit, easily single handed, and comes equipped with both an autopilot and a wind vane. Solar panels and lithium batteries are recently installed with plenty of power for remote living.
VAT has been paid and a VAT certificate is available.

Remarks
Known history: The first owner who commissioned the boat saailed the boat for 2 weeks of every year, ( used as a hobby boat) and stored in the storage shed for the rest of the year. When he passed away, his wife did not want to sell the boat, and it was stored a further 3 years in the shed ( in Germany) and not used. The second owner also used her very lightly in the summers, and stored her in the storage shed again for most of the year.
The current Owner bought the boat as new ( 2009 ) and had 220 engine hours at that time.
Last antifoul: March-24
Original heating has not been used in 13 years. Ducting in place for it could be converted for an inboard air conditioner.
Lots of spares for engine, instruments.
