Already berthed in stunning Rebak Marina, Langkawi, right on the edge of the Andaman Sea, this Beneteau Oceanis 440 is no stranger to these tropical waters. She is actually called a Beneteau 444, because she is a 440, but with 4 double cabins! Perfect for family and friends!

Babar has been in Malaysia for over 10 years. Her current owner has just completed extensive upgrades and maintenance on her, inclusive of ( in the last 2 years)

* A new Main Sail and head sail
* New rigging ( 2017)
* New electronics
* New fridge compressors.
* The hull, (2023) was completely stripped back and epoxy resined, and antifouled.
* New Wind Generator
* New House batteries and starter battery ( late 2022)

She has just returned from another cruising season in Thailand, with her owners, who are now finding that getting across to Malaysia, and juggling work and family, are not allowing them enough time onboard. They want to see Babar loved and used.

Babar is a 4 cabin version of the 440 Oceanis. She has 4 double berths, 2 x head and shower units, and in traditional Beneateau style, pleanty of storage, plenty of space, and plenty of light and ventilation. Seating for 8-10 in the cockpit, or around the saloon table. The 440 is renowned for its seaworthiness, stability, ease of handling and performance, making this an ideal choice for both experienced sailors, or those new to the world of yachting.

Rebak Marina, where she is berthed, is a world class marina, offering residents full access to the resort pool, private beach, bars and restaurants. It also has a working hard stand, and contractors to assist with all your projects. Cruising in the local island group is an ideal environment to get to know your boat. Its duty free, and a budding yacht destination.
